Agrivoltaics (agri-PV) combines energy production with crop cultivation on the same land. Panels mounted on elevated structures (3-5 m) or vertical configuration allow continued farming underneath with benefits like hail protection, reduced water evaporation (20-30%), and dual land use.
Wind Turbines on Farms
Small and medium wind turbines (10-100 kW) perfectly complement photovoltaics. Wind blows strongest in autumn and winter when PV production is lowest.
