How does a wind turbine work?
A wind turbine converts the kinetic energy of wind into electricity. Wind drives the rotor blades, which turn an electric generator. The current produced is converted by an inverter and powers facilities or is fed to the grid.

Why a wind turbine?
PV produces energy mainly during the day and summer. A wind turbine complements it perfectly — peak efficiency in autumn and winter, and it works at night too.
